Based on the articles I read on Feng Shui, Dogs were not auspicious in 2012, the year of the Dragon. Because they are opposite each other on the Chinese Zodiac Wheel, thus, considered as archenemies.
I almost believed this because my 2012 felt like a roller coaster – highs and lows, ups and downs, twists and turns. It shook me hard. Enough to make me question my capabilities, belief in myself, ability to make things happen and my plan towards achieving my goals.
To bounce back, I made myself believe that I was made to experience how it is to be shaken to know bliss. I felt it. It was surreal and it was everything I never thought it will be.
Sometimes we question why bad things happen to us. I think I know the answer — A crappy experience forces us to look at the situation from a different perspective, an angle that we tend to overlook because we are in our comfort zone. It challenges us to look beyond what we already know and feel; an elevated emotion that will leave us in awe.
I have the ability to control my mind and I choose to look at my 2012, the Year of the Dragon, as a blessing in a monster costume.
