Looking for a fun and exciting Easter event for kids in Manila? This year, we decided to skip our usual village Easter activity and signed up for something new—ActiveFun’s Easterrific Sunday at their branch in Bonifacio Global City (BGC). And spoiler alert: it was filled with eggs, energy, and unexpected comedy… thanks to my son.
As the event poster promised, it was an Egg-stra Special Easter with a mix of activities like a coloring station, Easter Egg Challenge, mascot and magic shows, games, raffles, snacks, giveaways—and the best part (for the kids): 1.5 hours of playtime at their massive multi-level play area.
Let me walk you through what really went down—and what parents might want to know before hopping in next year.
🐣 Registration, Kits & Kiddie Excitement
We arrived around 10 minutes before the event started, which turned out to be just right. A queue had already started forming for registration, but it moved quickly. Each child received:
- A loot bag filled with snacks and small goodies
- A coloring activity sheet and a plastic egg-hunt bag
- Event access for both the activities and the play zone
My son took one look at the coloring station and said, “Mom, we’ll just color at home. I want to climb now!” 😂 So yes, we skipped that first activity and headed straight for the action.
🐰 “Sus Bunny” Makes an Entrance
Then came the grand entrance of the Easter bunny host. As parents tried to keep their kids in one place and loot bag treats started disappearing into tiny mouths, my older son whispered, “That bunny looks sus.” 🤣 And just like that, the bunny was forever dubbed “Sus Bunny” in our house.
After the bunny’s intro, a tiger mascot danced around and posed for photos. It was cute, although my kids were more interested in the play area.

🥚 The Easter Egg Challenge
This was the main event—and probably the most exciting part for the kids. The Easter Egg Challenge took place in batches within the play area. The goal? Collect as many eggs as you can in a short time. My son was so focused. He zoomed from slide to slide, dodged toddlers like a ninja, and filled his bag like a pro. When they announced the top three winners, we were this close—the third-place kid got 59 eggs, and my son? 58. One. Egg. Short. 😛

🎭 Shows, Snacks & Slight Chaos
After the egg hunt, we were ushered to the activity area where food and entertainment were waiting. Snacks for kids included a hotdog sandwich, chocolate milk, and sweet bread. Adults got… well, a hotdog sandwich, a sweet bread, and a tiny bottle of water. 😂
There were magic tricks, dance numbers with the mascots, and raffle draws. Honestly, the younger kids were having a blast. Mine? They watched the magic show for five minutes and whispered, “I can do better magic. Watch this!” and then proceeded to make a bottle “disappear” by hiding it inside his shirt.
A+ for effort. D for illusion.
💸 Was It Worth the Price?
The tickets were ₱995 per child and ₱350 per adult companion. At first glance, it might feel pricey—especially when you see your kid eat a hotdog in four bites—but here’s what made it worth it:
- The 1.5 hours of free play in ActiveFun’s safe and exciting play zone
- Organized, structured activities that still felt fun and relaxed
- The experience of something different (and a break from screen time!)
If your child loves playgrounds, enjoys group activities, or just wants to run wild in a well-maintained, air-conditioned space, this is for you.
👪 Final Thoughts from a Planning Mom
As a mom who likes to plan every family outing with a budget and schedule in mind, I’d say this was a fun and memorable experience worth trying at least once (or at most twice!). Even if some parts (like the snack for adults 😂) felt underwhelming, the excitement on my kids’ faces made up for it.
If you’re looking for an indoor Easter activity for kids in Manila that blends structured fun with free play, ActiveFun’s Easterrific Sunday is a good choice. Just make sure to bring water, maybe an extra snack (for the adults!), and don’t forget your sense of humor.
