Our company’s marketing team, consisting of 30 employees decided to have a rustic and outdoor experience for our Q2 2013 team building activities. I guess the words rustic and outdoor are an understatement.
Our team building took place at Forest Club, a nature sanctuary and eco-friendly training institution committed to the healing and renewal of Mother Earth. It is nestled between the mystic mountains of Banahaw and Makiling, and set amidst a tropical lowland forest environment in the town of Bay near Los Banos, Laguna. Forest Club provides an accessible and ideal environment for outdoor team building adventure activities.
At 9:00 AM, a warm welcome greeted us upon arrival. They showed us our hut to leave our valuables then invited us to the eating area to rest and have some snacks.
At 10:00 AM, the marshals called our attention so that we can start the activities. They divided us into two (2) groups and clearly mentioned that the games will be tough and rough but definitely enjoyable.
Exhausted from the physical activities, we left at 5:30 PM and headed back to Manila. We might have some bruises and cuts but the bond and laughter we shared left a deeper mark.
